I was in England so much as a kids that I spoke with an English accent until the end of grade two. My vowels still sometimes betray me. It's actually very good when singing - Aussie vowels sound nasal when sang.
We just had hail again, which brings me to an important point.
Hail is NOT associated with cold weather (that is sleet and snow).
Hail is formed by strong updraughts in cloud formations. Strong updraughts are associated with intense systems such as thunderstorms. The stronger the updraught, the larger the hail.
Sorry to be a weather nerd, but I love storms and hail in November seems perfectly reasonable to me.

This coming from someone who's stayed in melbourne most of her life...?!?!
Ba-Bam.
Sam has been to more countries than you have.
Sam has probably spent as much of her life overseas as you have.
Mine was just when I was little.

Plus stopovers for a day in Singapore. I wasn't impressed by your home country. Of course, I was ten at the time.
I expect there are more, but I did a lot of travelling before the age of 5, so I don't remember it all.
We usually travelled during the winter. We don't much appreciate the cold.
