I miss my Art

Art isn't with me. I miss him. Yes, I left the stick insects, and the cricket (Texty girl died) at work, but I left Art too, in the CD player. And I miss him.

The first time I listened to the CD, I was like, oh, that's pretty, but none of it is his own stuff, and so he's hardly a patch on Simon. But, you see, at work we have 3 CDs on on a cycle all day, so I got to listen to it again. And then, I started to appreciate some of the interpretations of the songs. Seriously, Let's Fall In Love (link is to the lyrics) is so georgeous it hurts. And I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face is the best rendition I've ever heard - and I love the musical My Fair Lady, both the movie and the stage play, but this...

Seriously, you NEED to listen to it.

And more to the point, I NEED to get Reb to help me to update my ipod. Simon, the Bugs, and Art are all not on it. :(

Did I mention that there are about 5 CDs by him in my Amazon cart... and several by Simon.

I'd get some Bugs, but I don't actually like their records - they seem so badly put together. Just a list of songs - mostly good (great) songs, but still, not a CD.

My Art and my Simon produce CDs.

Want to borrow my bugs cd?
An ipod isn't an ipod without at least Simon and the bugs on it. Not such a fan of art tho - he pales in comparison to simon ;)

Yes and no. He isn't original, which is kind of sad. But his voice is much, much better.

I have nearly all the Simons, and I have the Bugs 27 no one singles CD, it's just a question of transferring them...
